Location Updates

Our plan from day one was to provide you all with regular updates on our journey to open the Special When Lit: Pinball Electo-cade.

From early concepts through construction and all the way up to our grand opening, we will be documenting, photographing, and videoing all the changes this great space will go through. Check back early and often for the latest!

05/05/24 - Here are the details of our grand opening. We will kick off the festivities this Saturday, May 11th starting at 12:00pm with a ribbon cutting. We will have raffle prizes every hour on the hour with plenty of food and beverages to keep you well fueled! We have a real time high score board so if you get a great score you can put your name up in lights.

05/01/24 - Received our first delivery of tasty beverages today. Also, finishing up some last-minute additions with some shelving and a counter that will keep track of the total number of games played since opening. Looking forward to seeing that number climb over the coming weeks!

04/25/24 - Passed all of our final inspections today and received our occupancy permit. With that said we are finally able to announce our grand opening! Come join us on Saturday, May 11th at 12:00pm to kick off the festivities. Details will soon to come!

04/20/24 - Got a few more lights installed today over the bathroom sinks. Brightens up the place a bit more. Also, received our front door floor mat that will greet you when you come in. We think it turned out great!

Got one more batch of games in and have enough we can set our south wall lineup. Finally got Metallica. One of our favorites!

Getting really close to having our final inspections and getting occupancy. We can then open!

04/05/24 - Another batch of games arrived today. Great to see we were able to add Black Hole and the original Williams Indiana Jones to our lineup!

With a lot more of the games moving in we wanted to get a final lineup set on the north wall. We ended up having a little more room than expected at the end of the run so we will be able to spread the games out a bit more. It will be nice to not have everything so tight.

04/04/24 - Out with the old and in with the new. The big crane truck took care of removing the old bigger units and hoisting up all the new ones.

Inspection is expected for early next week then connection and wiring will take place. Then we should be good to go. Glad to finally get this piece out of the way.

04/03/24 - The smaller crane truck arrived today and took care of its work in short order. They removed a couple of the old units and hoisted up several of the smaller ones. The big job will be done tomorrow with the larger units.
